Things in the Watchtower have gone quite the past few months as regards news and court cases in Europe but the following really stands and it is stance that Japan is taking towards cults and not just Jehovah's Witnesses. The reason is that since the assassination of the last Prime Minister Sinzo Aber and hi mother's connections with the Unification Church, another Cult like the Jehovah's Witnesses, the Japenese government is seriously disturbed by all these strange Christian imported cults that have spread their nasty tentacles in its soil. And of course one of them are the Jehovah's Witnesses. Now some time it was brought to the Japenese parliament's attention that Jehovah's Witnesses spank their children far more often than the other Japanese families. We know that to be true, it was a common practice up to recently promoted by the Watchtower publications and it was brought up also in the Australian Royal Commision enquiry few years ago. It is something that many governments around the world are aware off mainly due to the ex jw community's due diligence. You can pat yourself in the back now. This practice although for Witnesses harmless has given licence to some strange jw parents to torment their children , a recent case in Britain that became front cover testifies to this fact. I will cover this case in another video.
Now all the Japanese goverment do was ask the Jehovah’s Witnesses headquarters in Japan to create a questionnaire that then would have to be distributed and be answered by underage jws in Japanese congregations. Ok it wasn't the Japanese Bethel but organizations that use the same academics that the Watchtower has used multiple times to write good things about them and they are at best friendly towards them at worst the act as paid for the Watchtower, I will also expose these academics soon.
Let me say that again all the Japanese goverment did was ask the Jehovah’s Witnesses headquarters in Japan to create a questionnaire that then would have to be distributed and be answered by underage jws in Japanese congregations. It is like asking Hitler to produce a questionnaire for the well being of people living in concentration camps. What do you think the youngsters replies were in this questionnaire? Exactly, predictable and one sided singing praises on Jehovah's organization. That's all the Japanese governent did! Now you have add to that that Jehovah's Witnesses account for 0.001% of the Japanese population hardly worth mentioning or being taken seriously. To the Japanese government's surprise guess who popped up their nasty head and starting bossing them around for this ridiculous questionnaire. Correct, the beast of Revelation, the United Nations that the Watchtower on one hand vilifies in their magazines and on the are so much in love and in bed for decades promoting their Agenda 2030 objectives in their magazines.
So for the first time, an official UN document signed by four Special Rapporteurs has been accused of interfering with Japan's religious policies and shielding dangerous cults under the guise of religious liberty.
The four UN Special Rapporteurs seen in this photo are left to right, above, Nazila Ghanea and Farida Shaheed and below, Irene Khan and Clément Nyaletsossi Voule. All lawyers working for the United Nations. Most of them coming from Muslim countries that were later on in life studied abroad in Western countries and kater on were employed by the United Nations. Very interesting backgrounds please do your own background and find out.
A letter to the government of Japan by the United Nations Special Rapporteur consisting of these four lawyers dated April 30, 2024, has now been made public. The letter, following the Special Rapporteurs’ practice of publishing such statements 60 days after they are communicated to the respondent Government for its comment, has drawn criticism for meddling in Japan’s internal affairs.
The statement addresses the controversial “Q&A on Responses to Child Abuse Related to Religious Beliefs, etc.” released by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare on December 27, 2022. This document is part of a series of laws, guidelines, and administrative regulations issued after the 2022 assassination of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe by a man targeting him for his cooperation with the Unification Church. The assassin blamed the Church for his mother’s financial ruin due to excessive donations. Following this incident, a campaign against “cults” ensued, with the Q&A being one of its products.
According to the UN statement, the Q&A Guidelines were developed against the backdrop of increased scrutiny and stigmatization of some religious minorities, following Abe's assassination. These guidelines were prepared in cooperation with private anti-cult organizations, such as the Japanese Society for Cult Prevention and Recovery (JSCPR), whose Chairperson called for recognizing a new type of child abuse by religious groups in October 2022 and had previously made public statements denigrating Jehovah’s Witnesses and other religious minorities.
The name of the chairman of this organization is Kimiaki Nishida, Chairperson of the Japanese Society for Cult Prevention and Recovery.
The statement highlights that while Jehovah’s Witnesses are not specifically mentioned in the Q&A Guidelines, their practices appear to be targeted. The UN Rapporteurs criticize the guidelines for establishing a lower threshold for identifying abuse in religious contexts compared to non-religious contexts. They argue that the guidelines deem parental pressures for children to participate in religious activities as abusive, while similar pressures for sports or arts are not viewed the same way.
The guidelines also allegedly make vague references to deviations from “social conventions” and “socially accepted norms” as a basis for identifying potential abuse, which the UN Rapporteurs believe limits the diversity of religious expressions. They remind Japan that states cannot prevent citizens from adopting and transmitting different lifestyles and customs to their children, except in rare cases of necessity and proportionality.
Now various pro-cult organizations like “Bitter Winter” reported that the Q&A had led to increased discrimination and hate against Jehovah’s Witnesses and other religious minorities, with a significant rise in hate crimes and incidents of hate speech. They advocate that the Q&A guidelines reportedly contributed to this climate of hostility and led to investigations and pamphlet distributions in schools that heightened stigma against these groups. It is the same practice the Watchtower advocates everywhere when people want to expose their Cult practises they cry wolf and hate crime to avoid scrutiny.
The UN Rapporteurs warn that these actions could violate principles of neutrality and non-discrimination, potentially leading to further stigmatization and violence against religious minorities. They urge Japan to adhere to its international human rights obligations and take immediate measures to prevent discrimination and hate crimes.
The Japanese government responded weakly to the UN statement on June 27, claiming that the guidelines also apply to non-religious abuse of children, despite evidence to the contrary. They defended their methodology, stating it was based on consultations with relevant parties. Critics argue that the UN’s intervention is a significant overreach, protecting groups with dangerous practices under the banner of religious freedom. This marks the first time an international body has acknowledged what it perceives as a major religious liberty crisis in Japan, calling for immediate attention. Talking about over reaction by the United Nations to a silly questionnaire.
This is the first time in a long while that the United Nations have taken a proactive stance on behalf of a western Christian denomination that is so insignificant in terms of membership, it represents the 0.001 percent of Japanish population that raises the question who prompted this intervention? Is it possible that the Warchtower with its long time ties with the United Nations and it's proximity to this organisation, both being in the same country and not so long ago both being on the same city, New York has prompted this disproportionate intervention? Isn't interesting how the beast of Revelation comes to the aid of the very religion that preaches its destruction in the hands of God at the time of the End? So this is the story and if their are any further developments I will keep you up to date.
