THE TALENTS PARABLE

This recent September 2024 Watchtower Study Edition and specifically the article "Are you Heeding the Warnings?" is not just about all the changes that were announced back in 2023 Annual Meeting it is also about addressing ALL those who have partaken from the emblems is recent years .The "new" generation of anointed ones that the Watchtower is so terrified in addressing since they don't fit in any of their theological computations of the past. You see the End was meant to come decades ago when the 144,000 number of anointed still made sense but now 20 or 30 years down the line most of the governing body members do not qualify in being anointed by jw standards since according to jw theology these anointed had to be born before 1914 and be old enough to understand the coming of Christ in His kingdom in that year. None of the current governing members fit these criteria, with most of them having been born way past that event. That is why the feel inadequate and uncomfortable with the rise of a "new" anointed class that defies all their doctrines and teachings and therefore they feel the need to address them in their publications. There is a new us versus them mentality emerging in their magazines similar to the great crowd versus the 144,000 mentality that was frequent feature of the Watchtowers up to recently but not anymore. Before we delve into this new understanding let's first consider the account of the parable of the talents as it can be found in Matthew 24:14-18:

For it is just like a man about to travel abroad who summoned his slaves and entrusted his belongings to them.15 He gave five talents to one, two to another, and one to still another, to each according to his own ability, and he went abroad.16 Immediately the one who received the five talents went and did business with them and gained five more.17Likewise, the one who received the two gained two more.18But the slave who received just one went off and dug in the ground and hid his master’s money.

In paragraph 10 of this article we read the commentary:

In the parable of the talents, Jesus spoke of two slaves who were faithful to their master and one who was not. (Matt. 25:14-18) The two slaves proved faithful by working hard to increase their master’s interests. Before traveling abroad, he entrusted them with talents—a large amount of money. The two faithful slaves were industrious and used the money wisely. The result? When their master returned, they had doubled the amount he had given them. The master commended them—they entered “into the joy of [their] master.” (Read Matthew 25:19-23.) But what about the third slave? What did he do with the money his master had given him?

But what about the 3rd slave? We read in Matthew 25:25-30:

“Finally the slave who had received the one talent came forward and said: ‘Master, I knew you to be a demanding man, reaping where you did not sow and gathering where you did not winnow. 25 So I grew afraid and went and hid your talent in the ground. Here, you have what is yours.’ 26 In reply his master said to him: ‘Wicked and sluggish slave, you knew, did you, that I reaped where I did not sow and gathered where I did not winnow? 27 Well, then, you should have deposited my money with the bankers, and on my coming I would have received it back with interest.28 “‘Therefore, take the talent away from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. 29 For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance. But the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. 30 And throw the good-for-nothing slave out into the darkness outside. There is where his weeping and the gnashing of his teeth will be.

What is their explanation here? In paragraph 11 we read:

The third slave received one talent but was “sluggish.” His master expected him to use the talent wisely. Instead, he buried it in the ground. When the master returned, this slave had nothing additional to give him. The slave did not have a good attitude. Rather than apologize for his failure to increase the master’s belongings, the slave unjustly called the master “a demanding man.” This slave did not receive his master’s approval. More than that, the talent was taken away from him and he was cast out of the master’s household.—Matt. 25:24, 26-30.

Paragraphs 12,13 further clarify their position on this paragraph :

The two faithful slaves represent faithful anointed Christians. The Master, Jesus, invites them to “enter into the joy of [their] master.” They receive their heavenly reward, the first resurrection. (Matt. 25:21, 23; Rev. 20:5b) On the other hand, the bad example of the sluggish slave provides a warning for anointed ones.13 In the parable of the talents, as in the parable of the virgins, Jesus was not predicting that the anointed would become sluggish. Rather, he was explaining what would happen if ever they did lose their zeal. They would fail to make their “calling and choosing sure for [themselves],” and they would not be permitted to enter into the heavenly Kingdom.—2 Pet. 1:10

In other words everytime the anointed are painted in positive colours in the parables then they represent a real class of anointed Christians namely them BUT when the anointed are painted in negative colours they are just an possible negative outcome and not a real class of people. How convenient! As I said in my previous article parables represent outcomes and not people but that doesn't mean that these outcomes can never come true. In fact as I have already said the Watchtower leaders have already fulfilled the negative outcome of the "evil slave" of Matthew 24 and they also fulfill the negative outcome of the "sluggish" slave of the parable of the talents. Before we delve into how they fulfill their role as the "sluggish" slave let's remind ourselves once again how the fulfill their role as the "evil slave " of Matthew 24:45-51:

Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time? 46 Happy is that slave if his master on coming finds him doing so! 47 Truly I say to you, he will appoint him over all his belongings. 48 “But if ever that evil slave says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying,’ 49 and he starts to beat his fellow slaves and to eat and drink with the confirmed drunkards, 50 the master of that slave will come on a day that he does not expect and in an hour that he does not know, 51 and he will punish him with the greatest severity and will assign him his place with the hypocrites. There is where his weeping and the gnashing of his teeth will be"

So how did they fulfill their role as the evil slave? When they felt their master was delaying having falsely preached that He came invisibly in 1914 and made everyone wait for over a hundred years, when people started waking up and complaining instead of treating them as brothers and sisters they started "beating them up", disfellowshiping them and driving them away from the congregation and their families instead of behaving as a loving shepherds tgey demanded blind obedience. And then they started eating and drinking with the United Nations that they had previously described as the beast of Revelation but now they became an NGO and started promoting their programs and agendas. They fit this profile of the evil slave like a glove , don't they?

You don't need a degree in science to see that they are the personification of the "evil slave." How about the parable of the talents though and the "sluggish slave"? By the way this is a terrible translation of the original, Jesus used two descriptives here not just one as the Watchtower will have you believe, the malicious lazy slave or from "πονηρός=wicked or malicious" and "ὀκνηρός=lazy."So a malicious lazy slave and not just sluggish.

Remember that slave just hid the talent and walked away. Now if the parable was about money the governing body would have won by miles the competition since they managed to turn "snake oil" into a multi billion worldwide corporation in less than 150 years, it isn't. This is about the specific gifts of the spirit that each individual Christian is being given about baptism. We read in 1 Corinthians 12:7-12:

But the manifestation of the spirit is given to each one for a beneficial purpose. 8 For to one is given speech of wisdom through the spirit, to another speech of knowledge according to the same spirit, 9 to another faith by the same spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one spirit, 10 to yet another operations of powerful works, to another prophesying, to another discernment of inspired expressions, to another different tongues, and to another interpretation of tongues. 11 But all these operations are performed by the very same spirit, distributing to each one respectively just as it wills

Having known about "these gifts of the spirit" that are equally being distributed amongst different Christians in a congregation what did the "malicious and lazy slave do"? They chosen away in every congregation around the world anyone who had something different to say, anyone who diverted from their monotonous Sunday Watchtower study spiel. That is way they find themselves in 2024 with no one at the wheel provide any meaningful Bible basis direction in this organization. They are also "lazy" because they used their precious dollars not to invest in kingdom interests but to sell thousands of Kingdom Halls around the world to fatten their bank accounts and leave destitute spiritually anyone who ever invested in them " spiritually".

Have no illusion, based on their recorded history of maliciousness and laziness upon His arrival the Master will "throw this good-for-nothing slave out into the darkness outside... where his weeping and the gnashing of his teeth will be." (Matt. 25:30) They make so many plans in to going to heaven but the start reality is that will be thrown into Hell or as most Jehovah's witnesses called the "lake of fire"!

JW and United Nations are a transactional relationship

The United Nations has powerful NGO’s who have published the agenda of removing any restriction of age of consent for sexuality in children, under the banner of ‘rights of the child’

These NGO,s publish their agenda selectively and are relentless behind the scenes.

Ever wondered why the database is protected at all costs of JW abusers?

Ever wondered why in New Zealand it is known that JW Child Abusers are in Congregations unidentified? What about if this is the case in other countries?

Yes, JW’s use the United Nations library as they admit… we have wondered why?

To keep up to date on this matter I believe and how it affects the…
