Have you heard the expression "trying to fit a square peg in a round hole"? That's what it feels like watching the Governing Body constantly trying to explain in a way that won't alarm the sheep why is it that they will abandon the 9 million Jehovahs Witnesses here on earth to face the worst time in human history called the Great Tribulation while they escape to heaven. But that is exactly what they are planning to do!
So once again the latest Watchtower Study Edition of February 2024 and Study 5, that was just posted on jw.org, they are dealing with this concept, why they won't be around when 9 million Jehovah’s Witnesses will have to face the worst calamities in human history , comets the size of mountains falling on earth, the sun scorching the earth and the Antichrist beheading Christians. So let's see what the introduction of this article has to say:
“I Will Never Abandon You”!
Theme verse“[God] has said: ‘I will never leave you, and I will never abandon you.’”—HEB. 13:5b.
FOCUS(of the study)To reassure God’s servants on earth that they will not be abandoned when all the remaining anointed Christians have been taken to heaven.1. When will all the anointed be in heaven? YEARS ago, Jehovah’s people wondered, ‘When will the last of the anointed Christians be taken to heaven?’ We once thought that possibly some of the anointed might remain in the earthly Paradise for some time after the war of Armageddon. But in the July 15, 2013, issue of The Watchtower, we learned that all anointed ones who are still on earth will be raised to heaven before the outbreak of Armageddon.—Matt. 24:31
So the main focus of this study is "to reassure God’s servants on earth that they will not be abandoned when all the remaining anointed Christians have been taken to heaven."
Now when they say they won't abandon you get ready to be abandoned. Now, how did they come up with this idea? This is not something new and you won't find the verses of this concept anywhere in that article of where they get this idea because they simply don't want you to start digging around or doing your own research. It is actually based on the apostle Paul's famous verses about the Rapture of the Church in 1 Thess. 4:16,17
because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice and with God’s trumpet, and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first. 17 Afterward we the living who are surviving will, together with them, be caught away in clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and thus we will always be with the Lord.
Now before you take on the comment section writing to me that the word rapture it doesn't appear in the Bible I want you to know where that when verse 17 says "we will be caught away in the clouds" the original word is(=harpazo) which in Latin is rapturo where the word Rapture comes from. So yes the word is there in black and white. Also the concept is drastically different from what the Warchtower teaches, according to these verses ALL Christians will be caught away in the clouds, first the ones who are in the grave and then the ones that are still alive during that time, as the verse says,
those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first. 17 Afterward we the living who are surviving will, together with them, be caught away in clouds to meet the Lord in the air
Why are Christians are being removed from the earth is quite simple, it is because God will have mercy on us, it is written later in the next chapter 5 of 1 Thessalonians (1 Thess. 5:9)
because God assigned us, not to wrath, but to the acquiring of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Now, when you see this word "wrath" this is not just a word it corresponds to the last moments of the End Times, the Great Tribulation. We are not meant to be here to expierience all the calamities. So mainstream Christians who believe in the concept of the Rapture believe that all Christians will be removed from the earth as the Bible says but the Watchtower wants you to believe that everyone will get left behind and only 9 fat blokes the governing body will be taken to heaven, its the nasty version of this wonderful concept which they have managed to yet again reduce it with their myopic understanding of the Bible to an event that only applies to them. It is the opposite of Rapture, it is the Anti-Rapture.
Now, if this is true and you are given an opportunity to escape this planet before all hell breaks loose won't you take it? I fear most Jehovah's Witnesses will miss this chance of escaping, I have had a taste of that when i tried to reason with them from the Scriptures, and they dig their heels in ignoring clear Bible warning and follow their blind leaders who tell them otherwise. By the way, the dark side and it's minions not only know about the Rapture but have prepared the script to explain it away when it happens as anything but an event of divine intervention.
Here are some quotes from new age writers who are obviously under demonic influence:
"The people who leave the planet during the time of Earth changes do not fit in here any longer, and they are stopping the harmony of Earth. When the time comes that perhaps 20 million people leave the planet at one time there will be a tremendous shift in consciousness for those who are remaining.” -Barbara Marciniak, “Bringers of the Dawn”1992 edition (Marciniak channels aliens from other planets)
Another quote from another channeler portrays Rapture as a necessary event instigated by our Alien overloards because these Christians pose a threat to the rest of the planet and need to be removed:
Channeler Thelma Terrell, who goes by her spiritual name, “Tuella” wrote a book called Project World Evacuation, these are some quotes from that book. They are messages channeled from a being [demon] who calls himself Ashtar, the leader of an alien [demon] confederation. “The Great Evacuation will come upon the world very suddenly. The flash of emergency events will be as a lightning that flashes in the sky. So suddenly and so quick in its happening that it is over almost before you are aware of its presence… Phase I of the Great Exodus of souls from the planet will take place at a moment’s notice when it is determined that the inhabitants are in danger. Do not be concerned nor unduly upset if you do not participate in this first temporary lift-up of souls who serve with us. This merely means that your action in the plan is elsewhere, and you will be taken for your instructions or will receive them in some other manner. Do not take any personal affront if you are not alerted or are not a participant in this first phase of our plan. Your time will come later, and these instructions are not necessary for you at this time…”
So even the demons are preparing for this event but the Watchtower leadership is asleep at the wheel, ready to sacrifice all Jehovah's Witnesses and deny them a safe escape when the time comes.
But what about Matthew 24:31 the verse they quote on the first paragraph of this article
we learned that all anointed ones who are still on earth will be raised to heaven before the outbreak of Armageddon.—Matt. 24:31
Now Matthew 24:29-31 clearly says this:
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in grief, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he will send out his angels with a great trumpet sound, and they will gather his chosen ones together from the four winds, from one extremity of the heavens to their other extremity
Isn't that a clear indication that some Christians will still be on earth after the Great Tribulation? Come and join me next time as we consider this part of the Watchtower Study Article and how they again get it so spectacularly wrong
